SCUBA DIVING PHILOSPHY
I enjoy scuba diving and try to make instruction fun for the
students and myself. While having fun in the classroom and
pool I keep the knowledge and skill requirements to a high
standard. I believe that scuba diving opens up a new and
exciting world beneath the waves, allowing for exciting new
discoveries while having fun and enjoying the world below.
To really enjoy yourself and get the most out of scuba
diving, you the “scuba diver” need to have good scuba diver
skills to be comfortable and safe underwater. This means
you need to know and understand what happens with your
body while scuba diving and you need to develop good
basic in water safety skills. Training to be safe while scuba
diving requires understanding how water and pressures
affect you and your dive gear. What you need to do to be
safe and not injure yourself. What you have to be aware of
and monitor in order to complete your scuba dive safely
with injury to yourself or others. As a student you will learn
how water and pressure affect scuba divers and their
equipment. You will also learn the in water skills to dive
safely without injury to yourself or the underwater
enviroment.
I look forward to seeing you beneath the
waves soon.
